Prerequisite: Near native speaker oral skills and completion of GE Foundation requirements (or concurrent enrollment in at least one Foundation course). Addresses particular needs of bilingual student population. Emphasis on acquisition of solid grammatical base with development of writing and reading skills. Letter grade only (A-F). General Education Category A must be completed prior to taking any course except language courses where students meet formal prerequisites and/or competency equivalent for advanced study.
