Prerequisite: Consent of Instructor. Analyzes and compares methodologies used in the discipline of Religious Studies. Selected methods include: social scientific; phenomenology; structuralism; textual criticism and exegesis; personalist and normative approaches to the study of religion. Critical hermeneutics such as Marxist, Feminist, Freudian, and Post-Modern are also explored.
