Study of crime from a sociological perspective and the emerging interdisciplinary approaches to crime. Topics include definitions and measurement of crime, types of crime and crime statistics, and social policy issues involving the criminal justice system and crime prevention. Not open for credit to students with credit in SOC 441I.
