Study of the effects of thermal processing and mechanical processing on the properties and microstructures of metals, alloys, and other materials. Determination of material properties using tensile test, torsion test, and beam test. Study of the statistical nature and reliability of test results. (Laboratory 3 hours) Letter grade only (A-F).
