Prerequisites: MAE 330, 373, 375; CE 335. Corequisite: CE 406. Capstone design course. Design experience includes conceptual design, literature review and analysis. Final design includes: drawings, manufacturing and assembly of prototype. Emphasis placed on identifying realistic constraints simulating industrial situations which affect design choices. Teamwork and interaction is encouraged. (Lecture-Problems 2 hours, Design Laboratory 3 hours) Letter grade only (A-F).
