Prerequisites: GEOG 140; 485 or 585, 488 or 588 or consent of instructor. The use of Geographic Information Systems and science for spatial query, problem analysis, spatial modeling and decision support in natural resource assessment. Students who possess a background in GIS are introduced to environmental applications. Emphasizes the use of raster GIS. (3 hours Lecture, 2 hours of Laboratory.)
