Provides a background to the principles and concepts of digital image processing and the extraction of information from digital satellite data with focus various enhancement and extraction techniques, specifically, within the visible and near-infrared portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. (Seminar 3 hours; Laboratory 2 hours). Letter grade only (A-F).
