Prerequisites: GEOG 200 or equivalent and GEOG 380 or consent of instructor. Processing and interpretation of aerial photographs and digital satellite imagery. Topics include the electromagnetic spectrum, energy-matter interactions, sensor characteristics, and the acquisition, processing and interpretation of imagery for applications including the analysis of vegetation dynamics, surface hydrology and urban environments. (Seminar 3 hours; Laboratory 2 hours). Letter grade only (A-F).
