Prerequisite: GEOG 200, or consent of instructor. Examines qualitative geographic methodologies and methods through the theoretical frameworks that geographers employ in their research. Introduces survey, interview, and focus group techniques, textual analysis, participant observation, and ethnography. Includes a hands-on research experience. (4 hours discussion). Letter grade only (A-F).
