Prerequisite: FREN 101B or three years of high school French or equivalent, and completion of the 13-unit Foundation requirement (or entering competency equivalent to FREN 101B and completion of concurrent enrollment in at least one Foundation course). Continued work in speaking, pronunciation, comprehension and writing. For non-native speakers only, and is not open to heritage speakers or native speakers of French. Check for the code 138 (for non-native speakers) and 139 (for heritage speakers) in the Schedule of Classes. (lecture 4 hrs.) (CAN FREN 8)
