An introduction to basic techniques in criminal justice research, including report writing, components of research design models, sampling techniques, data collection techniques, questionnaire construction, interview techniques, and participant observation. Focus on bridging the gaps between theory, research, and justice policy. Not open for credit to students with credit in CRIM 480. Letter grade only (A-F).
