Chemical and mathematical treatment of energetics and kinetics of reactions in living systems, including chemistry and metabolism of carbohydrates and chemistry of proteins. (Lecture 3 hrs.) * 441B Biological Chemistry (3) Prerequisite: CHEM 441A with a grade of "C" or better.Second semester of two-semester sequence (CHEM 441A and 441B) in biochemistry.
