Emphasis upon pathogenic bacteria of humans and animals; topics include bacterial ultrastructure, epidemiology, and mechanisms of pathogenesis, host defense mechanisms, and antibiotic therapy. Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture 3 hrs.) Course fee may be required.
