Prerequisites: MICR 211 with a grade of "C" or better. Recommended: MICR 371. Laboratory study of microbial genetics, using classical (non-molecular) and contemporary (molecular) approaches. Includes genetic engineering techniques; microbial genomics. Not open for credit to students with credit in MICR 451. Letter grade only (A-F). (Laboratory 6 hrs.) Course fee may be required.
