Survey of Italian arts before the Romans, including indigenous art of the Italic peoples and the Etruscans, and Roman Art from early Republic to Age of Constantine. Discussion of major art forms of architecture, painting, sculpture and so-called minor arts. Not open for credit to students with credit in ART 417 or 598L. Letter grade only (A-F).
