Prerequisite: ANTH 110. Recommended: ANTH 363, physical anthropology, biology, or anatomy/physiology course. Primate evolutionary biology, minus the sub-family hominidae; fossil record and analysis of fossils (through the use of fossil casts); detailed cranial anatomy (particularly teeth) will be examined in the laboratory section; literature on primate evolution will be surveyed.
