Through analysis of authentic cultural documents (films, poems, short stories, newspaper articles, publicity, Internet documents), students examine aspects of both traditional culture and the modern, post-colonial state. Grammar review as needed to support course assignments. Prerequisite: FREN201 or four years of high school French.
