Required of any student enrolled in a Saint Joseph College Teacher Certification Program and employed in a public school under a Durational Shortage Area Permit (DSAP) or employed in a nonpublic school and who has not previously student taught. A supervisor from Saint Joseph College is provided to observe and assess classroom teaching. Students who successfully complete this course and have a minimum of ten (10) months of documented successful classroom practice may apply for a waiver of student teaching. Seminar attendance is required.
