Goals of Early Childhood Education are identified; the expanding role of Early Childhood Programs in the broader context of human services is examined; theoretical foundations, historical perspectives, and research findings are considered. Field study required. Prerequisite: ECSE510, EDUC517 or SPEC510 or permission of instructor.
