Intriguing and puzzling phenomena that follow disorders of the brain challenge us to understand how the brain is organized to allow for complex cognitive abilities specifi c to humans. This course will introduce several neurological disorders and use them to understand cognitive systems such as attention, language and memory. Students will tie course content to practice by engaging in a 20-hour service learning experience. (3 Credits)
