An examination of white-collar crime; particularly defi nitional issues. The nature and scope of whitecollar crime; the costs associated with white-collar crime, and especially corporate crime are investigated. Other topics include: digital crime, occupational crime, and governmental crime. Students will explore how the criminal justice system responds to such crimes and what interventions have been utilized. Finally, students will explore why white collar crime occurs.
