Institution:
Rockford University
Subject:
Description:
Rhetoric 352 is the first course in the Quantum Writing sequence. The sequence begins in RHET352 by framing a research project that culminates in RHET355 with the presentation/marketing of a documentary. Students may take any course in the sequence. Rhetoric 352 provides students with advanced skills in argumentation through the framing of a research project. This semester's work will frame subsequent research projects for Rhetoric 353, 354, and 355, and will initiate contacts with community members. Working on the class CBL project which is documented through film serves as an example common to all the students as they study and develop written, oral, and visual rhetorical practices. Students will then apply what they have learned to their own written assignments. PRQ: Grade of "C" or above in RHET 102 or equivalent and 45 hours of college course work. Scheduled: Fall and spring when indicated by sequence. Meets: Rh C.
