The second of two advanced courses in the study of music theory and harmony. This course will begin where MUSC 202 left off with a continuing exploration of harmony, melody and form, with applications to analysis and writing. The specific topics of study in this course will include a more focused look at composition, as well as augmented sixth chords, ninth, 11th and 13th chords, and a theoretical look at music of the late 19th century and the 20th century.
