A beginning course in the study of music theory and harmony. After a brief review of music fundamentals, students will explore diatonic harmony, cadences, the use of the melodic line, clefs, and inversions of triads. Ear training, sight singing and keyboard exercises will be an integral part of this course, as well. PRQ: MUSC 101 or consent of instructor. Scheduled: Spring, even years. Classified: B. Meets: ANO.
