Classroom observation, assistance to the teacher, and actual teaching supervised by the classroom teacher and college supervisor. Fee: $300. PRQ: Application to teaching semester; passing of Illinois Basic Skills Certification Exam, full admission to the MAT program, and an approved plan of study on file. Beginning Spring 2003, the Illinois State Elementary Certification Exam must be passed prior to student teaching. Scheduled Fall and spring, yearly.
