This course emphasizes the use of database methods in designing and implementing solutions to business systems problems. Fourth generation programming techniques will be employed in application development on both mainframe and microcomputers. Also stressed will be basic knowledge in data structures, normalization of data, data modeling and the theory of database development and utilization. PRQ: CSCI 260 or consent of instructor.
