Basic concepts concerning living organisms as beings which grow, metabolize, reproduce, and interact with other organisms and their environment. Topics include cell biology, genetics, ecology, evolution, and physiology. Laboratory experiments will be conducted which gather data for subsequent analysis and interpretation.
