This course introduces 15 women whose relationships affected their creative output. Students examine the lives of these women by viewing their artwork, reading about their marriages and liaisons, and by writing and presenting dialogues, poetry, essays, letters and memoirs. A variety of media are utilized to develop an appreciation of their creative processes. Students also have an opportunity to create their own artworks.
