This course introduces sociology, social services, gerontology and criminal justice majors to the disciplines and fields in which they are majoring. Students meet once a week to discuss the origins, breadth and potential careers in their fields. The course orients the student to the professions within sociology, social services and gerontology through interaction with departmental faculty, former students and practitioners in the field.
