This course focuses on the advanced study of human movement, concentrating on the principles of mechanics they relate to the human body. Areas of athletic injury, pathology, sport performance, occupational risks, injury prevention, and rehabilitation are addressed. Projects are designed not only to achieve scientific insights into biomechanical problems but also to train students in state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research procedures.
