Students will expand their knowledge of the editing process by creating projects utilizing advanced editing tools and techniques. Students will develop standard and high-definition projects utilizing non-standard frame rates, scan types, and advanced audio mixing with surround sound. The management of large-scale projects will be stressed along with project recovery techniques. Advanced exporting and distribution methods for broadcast, interactive, and web-based video will be covered including the authoring of DVDs with submenus, motion backgrounds, and interactivity.
