Emphasis is placed on the effective methods of teaching social science in a multiple-subject classroom. Textbooks and other multi-media materials for the elementary school are reviewed. Finding and critiquing materials such as texts and technology tools in the subject is a vital part of the course content. Prerequisites: EDUC 561, EDUC 562, EDUC 564M or consent of instructor. Taken concurrently with EDUC 571.
