A supervised internship for creative writing majors interested in the uses of writing in non-profit agencies, business, law, government, or publishing. Students will be placed in public service agencies or businesses where they can observe and learn new writing skills in context. the student will develop a regular schedule of hours and report frequently to the instructor on campus. For each unit of credit, the student is expected to work 45 hours. Prerequisites: completion of 76 units and consent of the instructor. Cr/NC grading only. Cannot be repeated for credit beyond four units.
