FIELDWORK requires that students be either employed as the teacher of a college class, or be involved in another suitable adult teaching arrangement which enables them to take a responsible role co-teaching or working with other adults in that teaching arrangement. Credit is based on 45 hours per unit of fieldwork, journal keeping and seminar participation. OBSERVATION in one or a variety of college classes, with special attention to instructional process and strategies. Credit is based on 45 hours per unit of observation, reading, and seminar participation. Available to B.A. student upon discretion of advisor.
