4 hours credit, spring This course is designed for majors in education and/or physical education who desire a background in anatomy and physiology for coaching and/or teaching. It includes an integrated overview of specific body systems including the musculo-skeletal, neuro-muscular, cardiopulmonary, along with studies on cell respiration, pulmonary gas exchange, and their application to fitness and training. Prerequisite: BIO 154 or consent of instructor. No additional credit after BIO 314 or 324.
