3 hours credit, alternate years, spring Designed to expose the student to the educational concepts and activities necessary for running a successful elementary music program. Some of the things included are: curricular scope and sequence, the child voice, concert programming, recorders, listening and creativity skills, classroom management. Students will develop units and teach them in an actual classroom setting. Prerequisite: permission of instructor.
