3 hours credit, fall, spring A study of fundamental algebraic operations, polynomials, graphing, pairs of linear equations, roots and radicals, ratios and proportions, and their applications. Designed to prepare the student for college algebra and to satisfy the math requirements for medical technology, other allied health-related disciplines, home economics and similar programs. A student may not earn credit for this course after passing MTH 163, MTH 173, or MTH 184.
