All students graduating with a Bachelor's degree from York College are required to pass the York College English Proficiency Exam during their sophomore year. If the student does not make a 70% on the exam by the second attempt, then (during the student's junior year) he or she will be required to pass ENG 203 with a minimum grade of "C
