This course includes an examination of issues related to communications and culture. Students explore communication between people whose cultural experiences and perceptions are distinct enough to alter the communication event itself. The course considers perception, beliefs and attitudes, worldview, social organization, and patterns of thought and their impact on communication between cultures.
