This course focuses on improvement of sight-singing, ear training, dictation, and harmonic progressions and improvisation at the keyboard. The class requires the use of Kodàly moveable do solfége and rhythm syllables and German chromatic note names. Exercises also require conducting and analytical skills. Prerequisite: MUSC 2820 or permission of the instructor.
