The course will explore the history of Christian spirituality,classical texts of thosewho are recognized asmodels of spiritual practice, and the question of the personal development of a contemporary Christian spirituality. Beyond the reading and critical analysis of texts, participants will also choose one or several spiritual disciplines to practice gently throughout the course as a way of exploring their application to the spiritual life today.
