2 cr. This course focuses on specific leadership strategies of building respect and collaboration among members of health science disciplines through patient/clientcentered and ethical decision-making approaches. Students will have opportunities to develop skills to function as leaders representing their professions as part of an interdisciplinary team. Additionally, the ATHENS EHR System, which is a state-of-the-art electronic health record, will be used by students in this course to develop their confidence and competence with employing this type of clinical information technology in the practice of their profession. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
