(2 hrs.) (Prerequisite: BIO 292 or permission of instructor) This course will focus on examination of current molecular biology research techniques. The class will be laboratory based and writing intensive. Special emphasis will be placed on methodology and application of specific molecular techniques and essays commonly used in research and clinical environments. Additionally, this course will serve to develop critical analysis skills of current research and provide opportunity to expand in scientific writing, presentation and discussion. Writing intensive.
