(3 hrs.) (Prerequisites: ENG 102, ENG 206 or LBA 108 and grade of C- or better in MME 103; lab fee charged) An introduction to news and feature writing and reporting for the print media. Students learn news gathering, interviewing, organizing, writing and editing skills for basic types of articles and also write for and assist in producing the campus newspaper, Stephens Life. Students also review Associated Press style. Offered fall semester only.
