(Prerequisite: MME 101 or MME 103 or permission of instructor and CIS 160 or equivalent skills; lab fee charged) An introduction to basic equipment and techniques of television and radio production through lectures, demonstrations and crew participation. Elements and skills covered include operation of audio consoles, microphones, audio tape editing, television cameras, switchers, lighting and studio procedures. Students are responsible for some materials required. Offered spring semester only.
