(3 hrs.) (Prerequisites: 9 hours of PSY and MAT 207; cross-listed with PSY 540G) This course covers the basic concepts for describing and evaluating standardized tests, including reliability, validity, norms and standard scores. These concepts are then used to evaluate a number of representative tests in different areas: intelligence, interests, aptitude and personality. Students also take and score some of these standard tests.
