(Prerequisite: FAS 248 and FAS 340 with a C- or better; lab fee charged) Better sportswear and dress class in which students develop a portfolio of original designs, which are critiqued by a professional designer. Two ensembles are constructed by the student, using a variety of fabrics. Manual pattern grading, markers, cutters musts, spec sheets, and costing follow the design work.
