(3 hrs.) (Prerequisite: EQS 410 or permission of instructor. Offered spring semester only.) This course will provide the hands-on experience in the everyday operation of a stable. Topics covered will be: horse facilities; equipment; tractors; truck and trailer; loading and hauling horses; ordering supplies; preparation for horse shows; fencing and pasture management; and managing the stalled horse.
