(3 hrs.) (Prerequisite: MME 101 or MME 103 or permission of instructor and basic computer skills needed; lab fee charged. Cross-listed as MME 104.) An introduction to basic equipment and techniques of television and video production through lectures, demonstrations and crew participation. Elements and skills covered include operation of audio consoles, microphones, audio tape editing, television cameras, switchers, lighting and studio procedures. Students are responsible for some materials required. Offered in the fall and spring.
