(3 hrs.) (Prerequisite: must be in DAN 112 or permission of instructor) The study of movement expression through a variety of approaches experienced and performed spontaneously to broaden the range of movement vocabulary. This will be accomplished individually and in groups. Students also learn the role of improvisation leading to choreography and will learn the fundamental tools for creating dance phrases which prepares them for Choreography I.
